Used in traditional medicine for gastrointestinal disorders and inflammations. Mostly found in marshy meadows and swamps.
Perennial plant preferring wet and marshy habitats. Up to 1.5 meters tall, with large pinnate leaves and umbrella-shaped inflorescences.
Harvest roots in late autumn or early spring from marshy areas. Collect flowering umbels in summer for medicinal use.
Dig roots carefully without damage. Collect flowers in dry weather to avoid mold.
Clean roots, wash and dry in shade at 30-40°C. Dry flowers separately, avoiding direct sunlight.
